Seven months

Seven month’s old. Our little girls are getting so big, and i just can’t keep up. I blinked my eyes, and suddenly their acting all independent, rolling over all on their own, and holding their own bottles.

We had a fun day exploring new places, and being ogled by random passers-by.

There are a lot of photos (three pages… maybe i got carried away… maybe…) so be sure not to miss any of the cuteness!

Half a year already!!!

In the blink of an eye, six months has passed already. It feels like moments ago, I was blessed to look into my daughters’ eyes for the first time. Yet here we are, all of 20 seconds later, and our little girls are half a year old. If time keeps moving this quick, I’ll be watching them graduate by the time I wake up tomorrow. I just hope time slows down. There’s no need to rush.

Happy half-birthday my loves.

Our first trip to the park!

It was a beautifully warm afternoon (finally!). The girls had been begging to go outside and play (okay, maybe it was me. maybe.) We made our way to the park, where the girls rolled around in the grass, and had a great time. okay, so it was me, but it was just to take pictures of the adorable girls as they felt grass for the first time.

Anyway, here are the ones you’re actually here to see.

Hoppy Easter!

The girls had an egg-cellent time dressing up like the Easter bunny for their first Easter.

Aurora was thrilled posing for the camera, while Savannah was having a blast playing with the eggs.

Happy Easter everybody!

five month photos, and so much more adorableness

It must be springtime, because these girls are growing like weeds!

At their last checkup, Miss Savannah weighed 14 lbs. 5 oz., while Miss Aurora weighed 13 lbs. 7 oz.. That’s a whole lot of baby, and a whole lot of cuteness.

The girls weigh WHAT?

How is it that our baby girls, who were so little at birth, have grown to nearly double their weight?

It seems like just yesterday, they were both able to lay in Daddy’s arms. Now, they’re a bit too tall.

2018: New Year, New… Features?

Hey everybody

So it’s 2018. I know the site is still in it’s infancy (see what i did there?), but there’s a lot more I would like to achieve with it. Right now, it pretty much strictly focuses on the babies. Who doesn’t love a constant stream of baby pictures?

I want to add some new features too. Our page is going to feature a centralized hub for anything regarding our wedding. I’m considering adding a cooking blog (yes, really!). Also going to see about playing with the ad settings. I was testing Google AdSense, just to see if we could use the site to help pay for diapers. It didn’t work so well. I will keep trying to tweak it, so the ads become less intrusive, and more worthy of being on our site.

Oh, and did I mention our new Facebook presence? no? well then, is how to get there...

Twas The Night Before Christmas

Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house,

not a creature was stirring, not even the dogs.

The stockings were hung by the staircase with care,

in hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there.

The babies were nestled all snug in their beds,

while visions of pacifiers danced in their heads.

And mamma in her ‘kerchief, and I in my cap,

Had just settled down for a long winter’s nap.

We are really excited to be celebrating our daughters’ first Christmas. For me, nothing is more important than family, and to have a family of our own to share this Christmas season with; well… it’s the greatest gift in the world. The girls already told Santa what they would like for Christmas...
